Privacy policy
PlotSight is run by TAG Infotech (www.tagprojects.co.in/). This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Using the calculator
You can study a plot without an account. The plot, building and results stay in your browser. “Save in this browser” keeps a copy in your browser’s own storage on your device; we do not receive it.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
On plotsight.in we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and features are used: pages viewed, approximate city or region, device and browser type, how you arrived (for example a search engine), and actions such as exporting a PDF, downloading a study file, signing in or sending a request. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. We do not send your name, email, phone number or plot details to Google Analytics, and advertising features (Google signals and ad personalisation) are turned off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can also block it with a browser setting or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google keeps this data for up to 14 months.
Usage recordings (Microsoft Clarity)
On plotsight.in we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used, through heatmaps and recordings of clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Clarity masks text you type into forms, and we do not send it your name, email, phone number or plot details. Clarity sets cookies and follows the same rules as Google Analytics above: it is not loaded if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Signing in with Google
Exporting a study and sending an estimate request need a Google sign-in. Google shares your name, email address and a user ID with us through Firebase Authentication. We do not see your Google password.
About you (profile)
After you sign in we ask, once, which best describes you (for example architect, builder or plot owner), and optionally your firm and city. You can skip it. If you answer, we store it with your account so we can understand who uses PlotSight and reply to requests in the right way, and we add the profile type (not your name or firm) to visit statistics. You can change it any time by clicking your name at the top of the calculator.
Estimate and feasibility requests
When you send a request we store what you enter (name, phone, city, plot area, timeline, budget if given, project details), your Google email and user ID, the page you sent it from and the time. If you tick “Attach my current study”, a copy of the study (plot shape, building and results) is stored with it.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and prepare the estimate or feasibility study you asked for.
- To send you your exported study.
- To keep a record of requests and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with anyone outside TAG Infotech except the service providers below.
Where it is stored
Accounts and requests are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud). Google may process data on servers outside India. Request notifications are sent to TAG Infotech by email.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires longer or you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before. Write to yusufrahman4@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our reply you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
PlotSight is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and show the date below.
