LDA’s official byelaw page provides the UP 2025 model building and zoning documents in English and Hindi. Download the base text there, then check the state amendment and government-order indexes. A listed PDF does not establish every approval condition for your Lucknow plot.
English and Hindi downloads from LDA
LDA lists both language versions of the 2025 model byelaws, a salient-features document and an older amended 2008 document. The English PDF has 247 pages and the Hindi PDF 325. Use the document title and clause number when comparing versions; PDF page numbers are not interchangeable between languages.

Awas Bandhu lists a separate 2025 amendment and later government orders, including 2026 entries. This guide has not merged them into a consolidated rulebook or reviewed every changed numerical provision. Keep a record of the order used for each conclusion rather than describing the base PDF as “all latest rules”.

Confirm that the parcel is within the relevant authority’s jurisdiction, then check its land use, approved layout and allotment conditions. A residential use label still needs a defined building category. Measure the actual polygon and the adjoining road rather than inferring either from the advertised plot area.
Use a source-backed study before a detailed design
A useful first study shows the site boundary, allowed envelope, proposed building and a required-versus-proposed control table. It distinguishes theoretical floor-area allowance from what the geometry can fit. Our current numerical presets use the separate 2026 industrial framework; they have not been validated as LDA rules.

Can I download LDA byelaws in Hindi?
Yes. LDA’s official page lists a Hindi 2025 model PDF as well as an English version; both are linked in our library.
Does the calculator currently certify LDA compliance?
No. LDA applicability and the 2025 rule implementation are not verified in the numerical prototype.
